This is my all-time favorite movie!
The note that Andrew threw into the fireplace was about the rendezvous with Percy at midnight in the Library.
To me the most realistic scenes are many of the ones between Percy and Marguerite. They had such chemistry onscreen, it made their love for each other seem very real.
However, the scene where he comes up behind her in the Library and she didn't recognize him didn't ring true. I think she would have known it was him right away.
